STEP Labs is an acoustic software company whose technology produces crystal-clear voice communications even in extreme noise environments. STEP’s patented technology, based on the physics of sound wave propagation, enables such high quality voice signals that speech recognition, hands-free communication, voice identification, and voice control are now reliable interfaces for consumer electronics. Our first set of partners are implementing STEPware software in Bluetooth enabled mobile devices including headsets, car kits, and mobile phone accessories, but we have other partners in the development cycle for a host of different consumer electronics applications. Launched in January of 2008, STEP Labs is a venture-backed, Silicon Valley-based startup company with an extremely talented engineering team, veteran management, and an active and experienced board.
